Our team consists of experienced professionals who prioritize collaborative efforts in a supportive and progressive environment. Work Environment This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our rehabilitation center located in Morristown, New Jersey. Our practice operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where you will work closely with two other physical therapists and a physical therapy aide (PTA). Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology to ensure effective treatment strategies and patient engagement. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals, medical history, and specific requirements. Manage a patient caseload, typically treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and personalized therapy sessions. Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate various techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises aimed at enhancing mobility. Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes. Document all patient interactions thoroughly, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards. Promote healthy lifestyle changes by designing fitness and wellness programs that empower patients to achieve their personal health goals. Motivate and provide emotional support to patients, encouraging them as they navigate through their treatment journey. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care. Evaluate treatment outcomes, maintain ongoing communication with patients, and address any concerns promptly. Patient Population / Client Focus Our center primarily focuses on patients undergoing rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recoveries, and chronic pain management. You will work with a diverse demographic, including active adults and seniors, providing them with tailored fitness and rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring movement and functionality. Your role is crucial in reducing unnecessary reliance on medication and surgery by offering effective physical therapy interventions. Qualifications A valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey. A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. An unblemished professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license. Proficient in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription tailored to individual patient needs. Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and the ability to implement proven therapeutic interventions. Preferred Experience Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings. Competence in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT. Adept in developing and leading group therapy sessions focused on enhancing mobility and strength. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
