We are looking for a creative, passionate Growth Product Manager to join NEXT’s partnerships product group. Specifically, your job will be to define and execute on a product vision, strategy, and roadmap to make commercial insurance easier for small business owners to buy, service, and love through NEXT’s embedded insurance partnerships. This role requires a unique combination of high-level strategic thinking, customer obsession, a ‘whatever-it-takes’ growth mindset, and a creative spirit.
What You’ll Do:
- Become intimately familiar with what your customer values, and what their biggest challenges are - within the NEXT product and in general. Develop a process to capture customer feedback and represent the customer in cross-functional meetings
- Generate an innovative direction for embedded insurance partnerships at NEXT. Work with stakeholders across NEXT and our partners to develop a roadmap and solve the key pain points your customers are facing. Develop a clear vision of what your product should be in 12-18 months from now and communicate and deliver on the steps to get there
- Be accountable for your product’s success. Push cross-functional peers to take action when you identify a need. Propose OKRs for your product area, become deeply familiar with the KPIs and secondary metrics of your product, and identify trends before anyone else
- Design metrics and experiments that help your product group think in new ways and drive results towards NEXT’s goals. Coach others in using data and user research and be comfortable discussing results with leadership
What You Need:
- BA/BS degree required
- 5+ years of product management experience, managing technical software products from kick-off to ship
- Experience shipping products with great user experiences at scale
- Experience leading products that require coordination of many stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Passionate about the intersection of product design and customer psychology
The US annual base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $241,000. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the location(s) listed. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. NEXT employees also have the opportunity to receive equity and a generous benefits package.
