The Opportunity
This position works out of our Scottsdale, AZ location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.
As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP implementation and expanded use and will be responsible for driving various supply chain planning processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
What You'll Work On
SAP Expansion & System Maintenance:
Leading the implementation / expansion of SAP modules related to supply chain management.
Collaborating with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems.
Providing training, guidance and support to team members on SAP functionalities.
Updating Bills of Materials, recipes, and resources in SAP, manages change control and ensures master data integrity.
Reviewing and updating material master data on regular basis to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Using SAP to track and manage supply chain activities, including troubleshoot SAP-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
Inventory Management:
Monitoring and managing inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, in partnership with site procurement.
Optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
Implementing inventory control policies and procedures.
Monitoring inventory performance and take corrective actions to address discrepancies.
Demand / Supply Planning:
Predicting future product demand based on S&OP to ensure that inventory levels are optimized.
Collaborating with division planning to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
Coordinate with suppliers and production teams to manage lead times and production schedules, in coordination with production scheduling to meet demand, while optimizing resources.
Partners with manufacturing management to assess efficiency of manufacturing lines and analyze capacity.
Utilize SAP tools to analyze and adjust forecasts as needed.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Lead cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
