Reports To: Service Manager 

Salary: $19.00 -- $45.00/hr


Sign on Bonus available DOE 


Porsche of Tacoma is seeking a Skilled-Level Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles while also specializing in specific areas of repair. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality repairs, exceptional service standards, and customer satisfaction.

The primary objectives of this role are:

  1. Ensuring repairs are completed accurately the first time, avoiding return visits.
  2. Performing repairs efficiently and promptly while adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
  3. Diagnose and perform repairs across all vehicle systems.
  4. Deliver high-quality workmanship and a superior customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and address issues.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair all major automotive systems, including:
    • Engine, transmission 
    • steering, suspension
    • brakes
    • electrical
    • air conditioning
  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors to inform customers of repair needs and provide accurate repair timelines.
  • Perform warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure repairs are completed to the highest standards.

Larson Automotive Group offers a comprehensive group medical insurance plan to all hired full-time applicants that start the first of the month following the completion of continuous 60 of employment.
