Position Summary:
Provide support and documentation needs for the educational programs offered by the School of EMT.
Reports to: Manager
FLSA: Non-exempt
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Answer requests via phone or email from current and prospective students.
Maintain and scan into electronic files all student records including course applications, required prerequisites and ongoing coursework.
Organize and ship needed equipment and documentation to satellite locations on a weekly basis.
Assist students and instructors with connectivity issues for live remote learning sessions and on-demand sessions.
Assist students with use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) for online quizzes, assignments and coursework.
Perform general and routine cleaning of course training equipment and schedule needed repairs.
Assist Course Director/Instructors in meeting all MDHHS requirements for course approvals and compliance.
Record and distribute meeting minutes and agendas for relevant committees.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education
High School Diploma/GED (Required)
Graduated from EMT approved program (Preferred)
Required Skills
Use of Microsoft Office include Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel.
Use of general office equipment including scanners, printers and audio-visual equipment.
Required Skills
Licenses:
Emergency State Technician (EMT) in State of Michigan (Preferred)
Certifications:
Basic Life Support- Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) (Required)
Minimum Work Experience
3 years EMT experience (Preferred)
