The Team: Reporting to the Ratings Chief Commercial Officer, the Executive Assistant (EA) plays a pivotal role in enabling the effectiveness Commercial Team. This position ensures the smooth orchestration of daily operations, manages high-level administrative and strategic support, and facilitates strong communication across key stakeholders. The EA serves as a trusted gatekeeper, communicator, and coordination point for CCO priorities.

The Role: The EA will manage complex scheduling, prepare high-visibility materials, coordinate priority initiatives, and represent the Chief Commercial Officer with professionalism and discretion. High visibility opportunity with access to senior leadership and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

The Impact: This role is critical to optimizing the Chief Commercial Officer’s productivity and strategic impact. Success in this role requires strong judgment, a proactive and accountable approach, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, global, and highly matrixed environment while building strong collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrative and operational support to the Chief Commercial Officer, including calendar management, travel planning, meeting coordination, and expense processing. 

  • Anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and use sound judgment to ensure the CCO's time and attention are focused on the highest-value activities.

  • Prepare clear, polished, executive-ready materials and communications for internal and external audiences, with strong attention to detail and audience awareness.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships across the Commercial Team and with senior stakeholders, supporting collaboration and helping move priorities forward in a complex organization.

  • Foster an environment of collaboration and high performance, acting as a cultural ambassador for the Chief Commercial Officer. 

  • On an ad-hoc basis, support broader Commercial Team initiatives, in coordination and partnership with the EA team.

  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion, emotional intelligence, and a strong sense of accountability.

  • All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
     

Compensation/Benefits Information (only applicable to U.S. candidates): The anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 USD to $115,000 USD. The final base salary will depend on geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 5+ years of relevant experience in executive support roles, preferably within large, matrixed global organizations.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to navigate complexity and prioritize effectively under pressure.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, executive-ready deliverables. 

  • High emotional intelligence, integrity, and discretion. 

  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to take ownership, exercise sound judgment, and follow through on priorities.

  • Comfort operating strategically while also delivering consistent, high-quality execution on day-to-day responsibilities.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite
