Summary

As a Project Manager within the PMO, will leverage their strong organizational and technical skills in the context of the software development project lifecycle to deliver complex changes on time and on budget. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects for hospitals or health insurance companies and be familiar with concepts and processes from both the healthcare and software industries

Your role in our mission

• Assist in facilitation of PMO intake process and maintenance of project portfolio listing.
• Facilitate the weekly portfolio status reporting, including preparation and circulation of meeting material.
• Assist in developing and refining PMO best practices.
• Maintain oversight of project management documentation of processes and tool kit.
• Assist in the management of the PMO governance processes, including change management.
• Represent the organization to external customers/clients.
• Provide guidance to project management team in following PMO best practices.
• Encourage skill development of project team members.

What we're looking for (top 5 only)

1. Understand healthcare delivery or health insurance management.
2. Demonstrate basic knowledge of project support, client relations, IT industry, accounting, and time recording/effort tracking.
3. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of project management methods and tools including MS Office and MS Project.
4. Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes.
5. Experience in project governance, change management, and PMO process improvement.

Recommended Additional Skills / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• 9+ years’ experience in project management or in like roles/businesses

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
