Private Placement Technical Associate

Overview
In this role, you will work closely with members of the Private Placements investment team at Susquehanna, which is focused on investing in public companies via privately negotiated transactions. The Private Placements team is rapidly expanding their business, and they need a motivated, energetic, and hard working person to help manage the growth of the global business.
In this role you will:
- Develop and maintain tools to screen public companies.
- Maintain proprietary database of global deals
- Assist in data analysis
- Review analyst reports
- Run, review for accuracy, and disseminate daily departmental reports
- Collect and store all essential deal documents for full integration within risk system.
- Assist with some operational functions for the global business.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
- Approximately 1-3 years of financial industry experience with a minor understanding of capital markets
- Superior analytical and technical skills (especially in Access and Excel). VBA programming skills are required Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Access.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written); ability to interact effectively with all levels of the team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment while maintaining extreme level of attention to detail.
- Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, and resourceful in solving problems.
