Program Assistant - Per Diem!

 

The Community Health Center offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including preventive care, sick visits, mental health counseling, prenatal care, and much more. With multiple locations in New Jersey, we are dedicated to serving individuals and families of all ages.

 

Position Summary:

Join our mission-driven team in delivering high-quality HIV primary care through the Ryan White Part C Program. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring grant compliance, tracking program performance, and supporting financial oversight to expand access to life-saving care. Your expertise will drive accurate reporting, audit readiness, and smooth program operations, making a meaningful impact on community health.

Responsibilities

  • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues up, down, and across the organization
  • Monitors compliance with all grant funding requirements; prepares and submits all required reporting and data monitoring; leads the team in preparation for site visits and other audits
  • Liaisons with the Finance team in order to monitor expenses as compared to budget, including review of allocations
  • Provides training to newly hired team members fulfilling like functions
  • Assists with documentation of all required data into the reporting systems including CareWare
  • Assists team with tracking Ryan White patient eligibility and Cap on Charges for Ryan White patients
  • Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with a Ryan White program
  • Strong understanding of information technology and ability to organize, analyze and synthesize complex data from various sources
  • Able to adapt process improvement in accordance with organization objectives
  • Willingness to work flexible hours in order to meet the organization’s needs/demands

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Fast paced business office environment with direct patient interaction, computer, and phone use.
