DUTIES:

Under general supervision performs manual and clerical work in delivery, receiving, inspecting, and shipping of materials and supplies.

• Identifies, inspects, investigates, locates, and performs other clerical and manual duties associated with delivered materials.
• Coordinates the manual and clerical activities associated with the shipment, return, borrowing and loan of material.
• Receives delivered material verifying quantity, condition and description and performs necessary clerical and manual work associated with these activities.
• Trains personnel in the performance of Storekeeper B or subordinate Material Control positions if qualified.
• Communicates with personnel within and external to the company to aid in performance of duties.
• Initiates and maintains any forms, files or reports manually or using electronic data processing equipment to perform duties.
• Performs any required periodic maintenance or inspection as qualified and directed.
• Performs all work in accordance with company safety regulations and practices.
• Directs and checks the work of assigned personnel.
• Performs any duties associated with subordinate Material control positions if qualified.
• Performs other work related to the above as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have held a Stockman Helper's position for a minimum of one year.
• Possess State of Pennsylvania, or equivalent, and a DLCo Driver's License and be capable of nighttime driving.
• Must be capable of vigorous physical activity
