What you will do:

• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Generate manifest paperwork and cross check loads for accuracy
• Learn to safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area. Operate industrial truck or electric pallet jack to assist in loading or moving materials and products
• Assist in training and development of associates. Monitor attendance, hours worked and job performance.
• Perform all assigned duties in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with OneSource policies.
• Participates in and follows all OneSource policies, guidelines, safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.

What you will bring:

• High school or equivalent diploma
• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience
• Knowledge of safety practices, and wears PPE as assigned
• Skill in lifting heavy packages and objects
• Strong work ethic to work independently and cooperatively as a team player
• Knowledge of Cal OSHA
• Experience in warehouse operations, preferably with electrical components
• Familiarity with warehouse routing systems and inventory software
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification is a plus)
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook
• Experience in chaining and strapping preferred.

 Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels
• Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
• Lift and/or move 25 lbs and may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Use of PPE as required
• Mix of warehouse and office work environments

• Requires punctual and reliable on-site attendance

 

Location: This role is based in Sacramento, CA

 

Work hours: 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM

  

Salary Range:

• This is a non-exempt position and pays between $23.37 – $27.26 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location within California. The actual range of the role may differ based on the location of the role.
