Entry-level Banking Associate

Our corporate accounting department is seeking a banking associate to join our team. This is a great entry-level position for recent grads or anyone looking to break into the accounting field. This is a full-time Monday through Friday position.

What we are looking for:

• Someone with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Bookkeeping certification, associate degree in accounting, or 2-years commensurate experience
• Ability to coordinate various activities simultaneously, excellent organizational and time management skills, and interpersonal skills
• Daily deposit recording. Record daily credit card, check, and cash transactions
• Complete journal entries to record the dealership’s daily transactions
• Communicate and resolve discrepancies with dealership team members
• Manufacturer incentive processing. Understand and maximize benefits from manufacturers' incentive programs and payment structures, work with store leadership to achieve results, ensure up-to-date on program rules
• Submit all necessary documents to the manufacturer in the mandated time frame to be eligible for payment
• Communicate with F&I team and manufacturer to resolve issues and obtain all required documents
• Prior automotive accounting experience (preferred)
• Responsible for daily postings of funding/CIT across dealerships
• Review and maintenance of accounting schedules
• All other tasks/projects as assigned
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record is required
• High school diploma or equivalent
