Position Overview

MC Nutraceuticals is seeking an experienced Accountant II to join their dynamic accounting team. This role supports multiple business entities, focusing on month-end closings, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with their Controller and finance team to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data while contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Bank Reconciliations for multiple bank accounts as well as credit card reconciliations.
• Account Receivable reconciliation.
• Work closely with sales team to identify cash flow on outstanding AR and provide weekly/daily analysis.
• Account Payable reconciliation. 
• Analyzing Vendor bills and properly code all accounts payable related transactions and prepare payables for disbursement and approval.
• Comparison of Accounts Payable to Inventory Intake.
• Assist in Monthly Financial Reporting.
• File Monthly Tax Reports accurately and promptly such as sales tax and PACT tax.
• Work with Accounting team on Intercompany reconciliations.
• Provide financial information to team that is accurate by researching and analyzing accounting data.
• Review general ledgers on a monthly basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
