Purpose
This position will support the Computer Science business team by performing administrative functions with an emphasis on accounts payable voucher processing.
Responsibilities
Process invoices and reimbursement requests for payment, audit, and compile documentation, and submit vouchers.
Submit tuition reimbursements and fellowships. Other related administrative functions, as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, one year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level, or high school graduation or GED, and five years of clerical experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to accuracy and details. Collects and compiles information accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience at UT or another higher education institution. Previous experience with accounts payable processing. Experience with UT's DEFINE accounting system and/or FRMS. Experience coordinating the exchange of information with other teams.
Hourly Rate
$23.00 + depending on qualifications
Working Conditions
Attire: Business Casual
Standard Office Environment, Repetitive use of keyboard at a workstation
Work Shift
Hours per week - 19
Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Hours are flexible within 7 am-6 pm Monday-Friday, exact schedule to be worked out with supervisor
