Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Possesses an understanding of data analysis techniques, data warehousing principles, and business intelligence tools
Responsible for translating business requirements into actionable insights by extracting, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data from various sources
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into clear and concise analytical requirements. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the data landscape, including data sources, data quality, and data relationships
Extract, clean, transform, and load data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud platforms. Design and develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures to retrieve and analyze data
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
Build and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate insights to business stakeholders. Develop and maintain data quality metrics and processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Provide technical expertise and support to other team members
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analysis and business intelligence. Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 3 years’ experience OR a master’s degree and 1 years of experience OR a PhD. High School diploma and 4 years of additional experience or associate’s degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree
1+ years of position-specific relevant experience.
Fundamental understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling.
Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
Experience with data analysis techniques such as regression analysis, time series analysis, and clustering.
