Description

We are looking for a Senior-level 3D Designer with a background in interior, architectural, exhibition, or environmental design to join our integrated creative team. This role is focused on designing and delivering immersive brand experiences, exhibitions, events, and retail environments—both temporary and permanent.

Key Responsibilities

Spatial & Experience Design:

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of spatial design principles to create impactful, innovative environments.
• Develop 3D concepts, layouts, and designs that align with creative briefs and brand narratives.
• Produce high-quality sketches, design intent drawings, and technical documentation to communicate ideas effectively.
• Fluent in CAD (ideally VectorWorks), and can produce comprehensive design intent  technical drawing packages, including plans, elevations, and pertinent design detailing.

3D Modeling, Rendering & Visualization:

• Create high-quality renders and real-time visualizations using Unreal Engine for rendering and either Rhino, Blender or Cinema 4D for modelling.
• Translate concepts into animations or interactive walkthroughs, bringing designs to life.
• Work with 2D designers and motion specialists to integrate graphic elements into 3D environments.

Collaboration & Execution:

• Work closely with UX designers, 2D designers and Strategists to develop holistic creative solutions.
• Liaise with fabricators, engineers, and production specialists to ensure designs are technically feasible and meet production requirements.
• Support the team by preparing internal and client presentations, delivering visually compelling design assets.
• Maintain quality control over multiple projects, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Delegate upwards when necessary, ensuring smooth project execution.

Innovation & Learning:

• Keep up with emerging technologies, materials, and trends in architecture, exhibition design, and experiential marketing.
• Explore the integration of digital and physical spaces, incorporating new approaches into the design process.
• Push creative boundaries within the team and contribute to a culture of innovation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Ideally a 7+ years of experience in 3D design, interior architecture, exhibition, or environmental design.

• Degree preferred or equivalent qualification in Interior, Architecture or Environmental Design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in spatial storytelling, brand experiences, and high-quality visualizations.
• Exceptional design aesthetic, strong knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and production processes. 
• Ability to sketch, visualize, and communicate ideas quickly.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with designers, technologists, and production specialists.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively.
• Confident presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
• Enthusiastic and open-minded, with a passion for innovation and exploring new technologies.
• Expertise in 3D modelling and rendering software, including:
  • Cinema 4D, Blender, 3Ds Max, Rhino or Maya
  • Unreal Engine (for rendering and real-time visualization)
  • Vectorworks (for technical drawings)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop for post-production)
• Rapid prototyping of concepts using AI image generation tools (e.g. Midjourney)
