Job Title: Project Industrial Quality Manager

Rate of Pay: $101,000/year to $118,000/year
Duties: Lead the Industrial Quality Team in order to ensure the quality level of project deliverables. Guarantee the compliance of purchased and manufactured products. Validate manufacturing control plans. Measure the quality produced by the manufacturing process. Work with the Supplier Product Quality Development (SPQD) and the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) competencies in the Quality organization. Ensure that Industrial Quality teams apply the standards and methods set by Management. Responsible for Non-Conformity Report (NCR) management, and resolution lead time / Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Collaborate with the SQA teams, with a particular focus on NCR management. Drive action and continuous improvement plans to reduce CONQ (Cost Of Non Quality) and NCRs. Define, monitor, and ensure correct execution of project execution controls within project quality plans. Ensure quality of all modifications made throughout projects, and ensure return of experience process within projects, pursuant to Alstom standards. Manage non-conformities and safety issues, and utilize proprietary problem-solving techniques to overcome obstacles throughout the project execution phase. Measure and improve project quality performance. Lead the definition and validation of the Quality Control Plan. Complete and review the Train History Book to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled and in compliance with contract requirements. Manage Industrial Quality team inspectors and lead inspectors in the End of Cycle (EOC), halting production in case of a defect necessitating rework. Escalate any anomalies detected on production lines and ensure effective resolution. Serve as costumer point of contact for the EOC process until trainset sign off. Monitor and manage top priority Quality and Safety items within Industrial Quality activities. Animate an improvement plan with Manufacturing and Support function. Ensure that inspection planning is executed with customer collaboration.
May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout U.S.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Project Industrial Quality Manager-related occupation.
