Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in operations, strategy, planning, and program management.
- 5 years of experience managing vendors or third-party partners in an operations or delivery role, and driving organizational change across various workflows, services, and teams.
- 5 years of experience with data analysis or financial management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working in extended workforce or related fields.
- 2 years of experience in GenAI, Large Language Models (LLM’s), and Supervised Machine Learning or interest in building domain expertise.
- Experience influencing executive-level cross-functional stakeholders and seamlessly resolving conflicts.
- Experience navigating ambiguity, operating successfully in a fast-paced evolving space, communicating effectively, and proactively anticipating business needs.

Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration, and more).This team within gUP Operations is responsible for delivering supervised machine learning and GenAI model tuning data operations. Working with an ecosystem of global vendors, the team delivers high quality AI/ML data services that enable AI features in Google’s products.
In this role, you will play an important role in our vendor-based support operations and will manage multiple vendors across the globe that support Google’s ML/AI initiatives. You will use your innovative thought process to recommend solutions that will help improve evolving workflows and prepare them for scaling. You will also be expected to manage a portfolio of vendors that contribute to the long-term operational strategy and support model, extended workforce decisions, and operational excellence of business processes through continuous improvements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $99,000-$145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Track vendor performance against key metrics and service level agreements. Address performance issues and collaborate with vendors to implement corrective actions.
- Lead and deliver business reviews and execute a robust vendor governance plan through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews.
- Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with vendors to ensure open communication and proactive problem resolution.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous process improvements at scale. Use AI and other technologies for continuous process improvement and reengineering, review vendor data, identify process improvement opportunities, and drive improvement of vendor performance.
- Identify and program manage strategic projects to solve for challenging business issues by working with stakeholders, managing communications, and overseeing milestones and timelines.
