Summary
The Senior Manager - Environment, Health, & Safety position's main role is to ensure the company's compliance with environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, and driving sustainability initiatives. This leadership position requires strategic planning, effective communications and a deep understanding of environmental sustainability practices. They are also responsible for overseeing the implementation of ISO45001 and ISO14001 certifications.
Responsibilities
• Primary
◦ Leadership and Team Management:
▪ Lead and supervise the EHS team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
▪ Foster a culture of safety, environmental consciousness, and sustainability throughout the organization
◦ Environmental Compliance:
▪ Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards
▪ Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to obtain permits and approvals as required
◦ Health and Safety:
▪ Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
▪ Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective measures
▪ Provide training programs and educational resources to promote safety awareness and ensure regulatory compliance
▪ ISO45001 & ISO14001 implementation
• Secondary
◦ Data Analysis and Reporting:
▪ Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to EHS performance, environmental metrics, and sustainability initiatives
▪ Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, and areas for improvement
◦ Environmental Sustainability:
▪ Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the organization's environmental impact, conserve resources, and promote sustainable practices
▪ Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, waste reduction, and recycling programs
▪ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability principles into business operations and decision-making processes

Compensation
$118,000-$134,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

• Bachelor's Degree Required
