1. GENERAL POSITION INFORMATION

Position Name: Clinical Skills Coordinator II, Doctor of Chiropractic (DC)

Classification: Exempt, Benefitted

FTE: Full-time

Work Hours: 8:00-4:30 Monday-Friday, hybrid (option for 2 days per week remote in most weeks. Must be on campus for exam days.)

Department/Division: DC Program Administration

Supervisor: Dean, College of Chiropractic

2. POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinical Skills Coordinator II, DC is responsible for providing administrative support to the doctor of chiropractic (DC) program, including coordination of Clinical Skills Enrichment Center (CSEC) scheduling, data management for clinical and assessment activities, administrative support for high-stakes exams, and other tasks as assigned. This hybrid position includes both remote work opportunities and on-campus work requirements. The Clinical Skills Coordinator II, DC works independently under general supervision, exercising sound judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Support (75%)

  • Coordinate logistics for high-stakes clinical exams (Clinical Entrance Assessment and Clinical Skills Assessment), including scheduling, room reservations, staffing, materials, and day-of operations for staff, faculty, and student workflow.
  • Coordinate development of materials for high-stakes clinical exams by tracking case progress, setting up cases in the university assessment system, entering data, and exporting exam results for analysis.
  • Manage student enrollment and lab scheduling in the university’s simulation platform (Learning Space), including term setup and calendar development.
  • Support student enrollment and troubleshooting in the clinical placement and assessment management system (Exaat).
  • Collaborate with the registrar’s office to create and maintain clinical internship schedules and student assignments.
  • Assist with tracking of Clinical Internship requirements, including radiology and virtual lab activities, assessments, and other requirements.

Hiring and Scheduling (20%)

  • Coordinate student remediation process with the Clinical Skills Enrichment Center (CSEC) director, including scheduling, room reservations, file preparation, communication with students and faculty, and implementation of remediation plans.
  • Schedule teaching assistants in coordination with faculty and the Dean to ensure adequate lab coverage.  

Other (5%)

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support clinical education operations and program effectiveness.

5. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Education & Training: Associates degree or equivalent work experience

Experience: Three to five years clerical or related administrative experience

Related Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong word processing skills, including the ability to prepare, organize, and format large documents, insert tables/figures, and facilitate editing and review between multiple collaborators; Proficient in Microsoft Excel to organize and manipulate data, including the ability to develop simple formulas, create tables, and figures; Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple concurrent schedules and tasks with accuracy and attention to detail; Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address scheduling conflicts, workflow challenges, and data inconsistencies
