Position Overview:
Perform analysis and assist in support of capital and operating projects. It is a role that requires a self starter with strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

Position Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze and prepare project related data for internal tracking and reporting.
- Oversee the approval process of assigned project requests.
- Submit project requests for creation after approval.
- Monitor and maintain the project life cycle process in Oracle Financials, while adhering to policies and procedures.
- Monitor and refine policies related to project creation, project management and project completion.
- Prepare project and fixed asset related journal entries.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify specific trends, explain past performance, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with operations to analyze business, financial performance, and key trends for senior management.
- Perform monthly financial reviews explain variances in actual vs. budget and actual vs. forecast targets.
- Prepare and provide daily, weekly, and monthly metric reporting including variance analyses, graphs, trends, and other reports as needed.
- Research and resolve data and reporting discrepancies, errors, and/or omissions.
- Special projects as needed.
- Perform other duties associated with capital expense and fixed asset as required or directed.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting or analytical experience.
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
- Ability to analyze data in an accurate and rapid manner.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) for effective communication.
- Ability to interact with senior management in a fast paced demanding work environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to organize and prioritize own workload.
- Oracle Financial knowledge
