Environmental Services Attendant

What You'll Do:

• Be available to assist members when on duty and always be willing to serve members.
• Act professionally and uphold the reputation of the JCC positively.
• Clean general areas around the sports and fitness facility and high volume areas around the building
• Mop and sweep floors continuously, and clear clutter to ensure all spaces are safe to walk
• Dust windows and wipe down windows and mirrors
• Clean and Disinfect wall and other high traffic area as needed
• Clean sports and fitness facility and all associated equipment
• Clean, dry, fold and store towels for the fitness area as well as the fitness desk.
• Ensure all areas are clean and litter free, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, cleaning/wiping down mirrors throughout the sports and fitness facility (including the cardiovascular room and weight room, group fitness studios, personal training studio and locker rooms).
• Keep locker rooms and related areas spotless and orderly at all times.
• Report any broken equipment, dispensers or lighting to Manager of Fitness Operations
• Ability to follow written and oral directions and work independently
• Basic understanding of chemicals used in housekeeping.
• Team player with a friendly, positive attitude

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

• High school diploma 
• CPR and First aid certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of ag
• Janitorial, custodial or general cleaning experience preferred
• Detail oriented
• Ability to communicate with supervisor and site manager
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach high and low areas and work at a steady pace

SCHEDULE

Sunday 8:00 am-1:30pm
Tuesday 12:00 pm-5:00 pm
