Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for Senior Business Analyst for the Product within the International Underwriting & Property Risk (IUPR) division focused on UK, Ireland and General Insurance. 

This role will provide business analysis services to a number of new and ongoing strategic and customer projects across three business units in the division.

In this role you will get a chance to:

• Carry out business analysis activities across three business units including scoping, gap analysis,  detailed requirements definition, along with development and user acceptance testing support
• Drive the analysis process to explore and document requirements for new strategic projects
• Gather and document requirements from customers and compile customer facing documents

To be successful in this role you would need to:

• Manage key stakeholders, making sure that their needs and expectations are met
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the business including development teams and management 
• Drive the requirements gathering process resulting in high level documentation that is concise, accurate, complete and clear by internal and external customers as well as the development teams
• Represent the business or Customer in one or more Agile Development Projects and help drive them to a successful outcome
• Document business cases for new projects that are subsequently approved for execution
• Build trusted relationships and become a valued member of a talented team
• Successfully assist the team in solving complex business problems

What we are looking for?

• Strong business analysis experience within data industry
• Experience of owning and successfully driving the end to end analysis activities within a data services or IT arena, from upfront requirements gathering through to handing over to ‘Business as Usual’ services once a project has completed 
• Experience of performing gap and data analysis exercises to help inform solutions
• Familiarity in working on projects associated with APIs, data solutions, JSON, XML and related solutions is important
• Skills and experience in using API tools like Postman, JMeter or Swagger is desirable
• Effective skills in the MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is expected
• A highly organized, innovative team player and an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing English

This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of two days per week onsite at our Krakow office.
