The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Solution Sales Strategy Executive – Revenue Integrity, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Bringing industry expertise and advisement to med and large strategic clients and prospects to set short- and long-term strategic direction to meet their needs in Revenue Cycle and Revenue Integrity.
- Assessing and analyzing client organization’s culture and dynamics to customize delivery of HIS solutions to clients across the United States in collaboration with account sales teams
- Collaborating with account teams to design and present solutions for complex and multi-faceted clients using revenue cycle expertise driven by clinical documentation specifically in the areas of provider/payer contracting, reimbursement and claims denials
- Achieving overall sales objectives, partnered with the account sales teams, by providing strategic positioning of revenue integrity solutions.
- Supporting industry adoption of Solventum Revenue Integrity solutions as an industry spokesperson and subject matter expertise.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND seven (7+) years of healthcare revenue cycle or health information technology and/or consulting services in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND fourteen (14) years of healthcare revenue cycle or health information technology and/or consulting services in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Proficiency in data analysis to interpret client revenue cycle data and translate insights into actionable strategies, interpreting and explaining ROI and positioning solutions
- 2-3 years of affordability experience at a health plan/insurance company
- Ability to continuously evaluate denial prevention processes and implementing improvements.
- Have knowledge of different types of denials i.e. eligibility, coverage, timely filing, general medical necessity, place of service, coding and clinical denials
- Understanding of different insurance payor policies to include Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial payors. Understand differing clinical criteria for MSDRG assignments
- Experience identifying failure points and develop comprehensive corrective actions to enhance payment integrity and reduce delays in reimbursement
- Understanding of Billing, Coding and Clinical Documentation Improvement and the impact to claim denials
- Experience with reimbursement models including value-based care/ACO modeling
- Active participation in local or national Health Financial Management Association (HFMA)
- Experience positioning and presenting value/benefit
