Job Description
The Senior Solutions Architect will strategically lead and design scalable and repeatable architectures across an extensive portfolio of both Point of Sales (POS) as well as other digital and consumer-facing applications. This position will serve as a key role in setting vision and strategy, developing, evaluating, and coordinating the needs of the business as well as the execution of a future roadmap that aligns with the overall business Mission, Vision and Focus. Extensive experience architecting and designing complex POS in high volume and decentralized environments coupled with integration strategies to key business applications experience are required. Excellent leadership skills, analytical, customer and client relationship management skills as well as strategic vendor partnership capabilities are critical to this role.
Reporting to the VP of Technology within the Workplace Experience Group, the Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for collaborating closely with business and technical leaders across the organization to design, develop, and drive an integrated architecture that aligns with their needs and drives operator efficiencies, incremental revenue opportunities as well as optimization and further benefit from the current tools in place. In addition, key to this role will be to lead efforts to gain a competitive business advantage through the innovative use of technology to better serve Aramark clients, and ultimately the consumer.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop short and long term technical architecture roadmaps and provide the leadership necessary for the successful design, development, and execution of that roadmap in a timely, cost effective, and quality basis. Drive operational execution to ensure technologies are in place and fully supported.
- Oversee the implementation of innovative POS technologies including mobile commerce, survey analytics, guest tracking, loyalty programs, wireless communications and new leading-edge technologies to drive customer loyalty.
- Partner with the Operations, Sales, Marketing and Finance business unit leaders and other key stakeholders to drive innovation, change and implement new business processes and systems to connect and leverage the vast amount of consumer information that is collected.
- Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current and evolving technologies and prices. Advise, counsel, and educate executives and management on their competitive or financial impact.
Travel: Approx. 10 - 15%

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years (or more) experience within information technology in a role where POS technology is driving revenue; previous experiences in complex environments with multiple POS solutions and data repositories, integration to other back office applications both off-the-shelf and custom applications, experience in Hospitality, Casino/Gaming, Sports, Retail, Restaurant (Casual Dining, Fast Casual or QSR), or other consumer-facing industry.
- Strong knowledge of distributed operating environments (multi-site/multi-unit) system integration and related IT systems, including large scale highly available POS solutions; network infrastructure and design; food production systems; labor management; facilities management; logistics management; financial planning; business intelligence and data analytics, highly desired.
- Strong communications and presentation. Ability to present to and interface with key stakeholders, both business and IT, in order to counsel, recommend and implement successful, cost effective IT solutions.
- Proven experience in systems integration and external partnership development. Must work well with vendors/outsourcers and be versed in setting standards and measurements for IT processes.
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university ideally with a concentration in IT or related discipline; an advanced degree is desirable, but not required.
