Job Description
As the NAS (Network Attached Storage) Product Line Director, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of our NAS product portfolio, encompassing both hardware and software components. In this role, you will be responsible for driving innovation, managing product lifecycles, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be defining the remote access infrastructure support to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of our NAS solutions. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen to drive growth and success in a dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the NAS product line, aligning with company objectives and market trends.
- Define product roadmap and prioritize features based on customer needs, technology advancements, and competitive landscape.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new offerings.
- Product Development and Execution:
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development of NAS hardware and software, ensuring alignment with product requirements and quality standards.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams to drive successful product launches and market adoption.
- Remote Infrastructure Support:
- Determine and implement strategies for cost effective remote access infrastructure support, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of the NAS solutions.
- Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify trends and proactively address issues to improve customer satisfaction and product performance.
- Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Develop go-to-market plans for NAS products, including pricing strategies, distribution channels, and promotional activities.
- Partner with marketing teams to create compelling messaging, sales collateral, and product documentation.
- Support sales teams with product training, competitive positioning, and customer engagement activities.
- Product Performance and Optimization:
- Monitor key performance indicators for NAS products, including sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market share.
- Analyze product data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product optimization and improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, usability, and customer value proposition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on storage solutions or related technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing hardware and software products.
- Strong technical background in NAS technologies, including storage protocols, file systems, and networking.
