Product Engineer (Onsite)

SUMMARY

The position is part of the product engineering team developing the electrically driven AC compressor, which is a mechatronic product needed in conjunction with future hybrid or fully electrified powertrains. The position contributes to the electrical compressor development activity by design and validation of electric AC compressors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and developing AC compressor components working with a team of Product Engineers and Designers.
• Develop validation programs for OEM customers for the successful launch of their programs.
• Participate in innovation, product cost and quality improvement initiatives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline is required; BSME in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
• 3-5 years experience in the design of mechanical devices is required; 7+ years is preferred
• Automotive industry experience is highly desired 

 Salary: $80,000 - $115,000
