About the role

Description

The SteelEagle project is developing the foundational software for mission-centric drone autonomy.  Its goal is to enable small, lightweight, drones to be easily programmed for autonomous real-time visual inspection missions in urban settings.  SteelEagle addresses several limitations in the state of the art today by leveraging wireless edge computing to overcome the computing constraints of small drones.  The focus of the post-doc position is to develop software for the end-to-end SteelEagle processing pipeline that meets tight latency requirements, while remaining drone-agnostic.
