Project Coordinator - Logistics

Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator will organize, manage, and plan projects for the organization’s Logistics department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various logistics and project management tasks to ensure smooth operations and effective project execution. This role will involve collaboration with multiple departments and external vendors.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Set up projects in NetSuite, Pathwave, and Paylocity to efficiently manage financials, resources, payroll, and workflows.
  • Create and oversee work orders in Pathwave to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • Works with purchasing to create, track, edit, and close purchase orders.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors to meet company standards.
  • Engages with subcontractors and vendors to secure appropriate pricing and confirm deliverables meet designated timeframes; ensures subcontractors' quality and safety comply with standards. 
  • Assign routes, review reports, and address discrepancies.
  • Develop 3D craning lift plans and maintain shelter maps and inventory records.
  • Oversee safe and efficient shelter decommissioning processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date tracking of shelter audit project progress and documents in SharePoint.
  • Ensure all costs are accounted for to complete the project per customer specifications. 
  • Ensures pricing meets company standards for margins. 
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project. 
  • Acts as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors. 
  • Will cross-train and support dispatch and logistics coordination regarding trucking permits, assignments, and bill of ladings. 
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least three years of related experience is required.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
