We are seeking an Operations Team Leader to spearhead our manufacturing operations, driving excellence through our assembly and paint groups for propulsion systems. What YOU will do

• You will assist in cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
• You will assist in scheduling to ensure that production schedules are met.
• You will assist in sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, for a cell to optimize productivity.
• You will coordinate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.
• You will monitor cell performance and productivity to maximize productivity.
• You will assist in production innovation, including additive manufacturing to enhance the cell's production capabilities.
• You will interface with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of services.
• You will participate in compliance inspection continuous improvement (CI) activities.
• You will lead Continuous Improvement events that will drive safety, quality, and cost effectiveness.

Education & Experience

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

Qualifications you must have

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:  https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62 
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with continuous improvement projects and processes such as Lean, Six sigma, or CORE.

Skills we value
