About the role

A Little About Your Day:

From day to day, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of merchandise in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
You will load your truck via forklift or by hand and secure it with strapping to ensure safe delivery to customer jobsites.
You will safely operate a truck-mounted forklift to load/unload building supplies and materials, such as rebar, erosion control items, and more.
Operating with a strong attention to detail, you will perform your pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle, equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure your safety.
You will check in frequently with the customer to announce arrival, collect payments from customers, and ensure all signatures are received.

What You’ll Need for Success:

A minimum of 3+ years of prior driving experience and deliveries.
Experience driving flatbeds with moffett or piggyback experience strongly preferred.
You must be 21 years of age or older.
A valid driver’s license with a sustained record of safe driving.
A Commercial Driver’s License B or A.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
