Job Overview & Responsibilities
The Oracle SaaS Presales Architect for the SaaS Solutions team is an expert-level SaaS technologist responsible for developing proposal technical responses for Oracle HCM, ERP, and EPM opportunities. As an Oracle SaaS SME, the ERP Project Manager focuses on supporting multiple, simultaneous technical efforts ranging from 1-12 months in length and dealing with Oracle SaaS Applications (HCM, ERP and EPM). This position generates the technical proposals that demonstrate Mythics’ expertise, value add, and differentiators for implementing Oracle SaaS in the Public Sector market. This role responds to questions around SaaS implementation, training, change management, project management, implementation methodology and overall technical approach. As a key member of our business development team, the Oracle SaaS Presales Solutions Architect is responsible for producing high-quality, customized proposals that effectively communicate our capabilities, solutions, and value proposition to government agencies and public sector organizations. This role operates independently, providing the most complex technical solutions for customers as a recognized authority in this discipline.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Provide both functional and technical experience around Oracle SaaS implementation in the HCM, ERP, and EPM space and translate into clear proposal documents.
- Create and maintain documents that convey an understanding of the technical proposal requirements and development of highly effective win themes around implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM and ERP solutions.
- Develop, write, and edit functional descriptions, specifications, special reports, and other customer deliverables and documents.
- Develop graphics, flowcharts, and illustrations for technical reports, SOPs, and other materials.
- Responsible for reviewing documentation as to planning, analysis, and design of solutions.
- Document requirements according to customer standards.
- Coordinate with the Project Management Office (PMO) and Technical Teams to gather, document and validate requirements for solution development and deployments.
- Working with Technical Teams, support solution drafts, proof of concepts, mockups, definitions, designs, and builds.
- Perform quality assurance and technical review activities such as defining test cases, test scenarios, test scripts and test data.
- Provide pre-sales support to sales teams and in customer meetings.
- Maintain a repository of reusable content, templates, best practices, and lessons learned related to Oracle SaaS proposals, and continuously update and refine materials based on feedback and insights.
- Create other SaaS-related technical documentation, including security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence related to Oracle SaaS solutions and the public sector and incorporate relevant insights into proposal content.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or a related field, or equivalent.
- 15+ years in technology delivery.
- Experience in Oracle SaaS solution development and pre-sales technology support.
- Experience developing technical proposal documents.
- Experience and expertise with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint and publishing software.
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government clearance.
Other Experience (Certifications):
- ITIL principles knowledge and certification a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to work independently to create, track, and support solution development and proposal generation.
- Technical SME in ERP, HCM, and/or EPM requirements and functionality in an Oracle SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and interact effectively with customers in a sales process.
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communications in reading, writing, speaking the English language.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and effective professional correspondence.
- Knowledge of IT ATO processes such as NIST and FEDRAMP is a plus.
