About the role

📍 The Role
As a Disabled Children's Social Worker, you will:
Work with children and young people with disabilities and complex needs
Build strong, trusting relationships with families and multi-agency partners
Complete assessments, care planning and reviews in line with statutory requirements
Deliver meaningful interventions that improve outcomes and quality of life
🧩 Key Details
Location: Northallerton
Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post-qualified & permanent (DfE compliant)
Caseload: Approximately 20-24 cases (manageable and realistic)
Working Pattern:
Flexible arrangements reviewed based on service needs

Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
Strong experience within Children's Services, ideally with disabilities
Confident managing a varied caseload with autonomy
Excellent safeguarding, assessment and communication skills
