Description
The Program in Cognitive Science at Yale University invites applications for two faculty appointments, one of which will be made within the tenured ranks and one of which can be made at any rank, to start on or after July 1, 2024. We seek outstanding researchers in any area and encourage applications from candidates with interdisciplinary research programs that involve multiple areas of cognitive science (including, but not limited to, Computer Science, Linguistics, Neuroscience, Philosophy, and Psychology). Priority will be given to scholars who will contribute effectively to both the undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring programs of the University. The appointed scholar will teach introductory and advanced courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in Cognitive Science and will also advise student research across multiple departments.

Qualifications
Eligible applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree at the time of hire.

- Research Statement: Statement outlining the candidate's main research accomplishments and future research plans, with particular emphasis on how the past and future work contributes to multiple disciplines in the cognitive sciences (max 2 pages)

- Three publications: Three representative pieces of research; other publications should be easily accessible online.
