As the 2nd Shift Senior Final Assembly Line Supervisor, you will lead a team of Field Service professionals and technicians, ensuring high-quality support for our aircraft products. Your leadership will be crucial in coordinating technical support activities, optimizing manpower, and maintaining communication across departments to resolve technical issues efficiently. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, team management, and adherence to operational procedures.

What You Will Do:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of Field Service professionals on the 2nd shift, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

  • Oversee on-wing maintenance, training, planning, and reporting of product performance.

  • Manage technical products, services, logistics, and configurations to meet customer requirements.

  • Conduct technical analysis for product implementations and modifications based on customer specifications.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, modifications, and field changes to installed equipment.

  • Lead startup, cut-over, and check-out activities for newly installed systems.

  • Prepare operation and malfunction reports, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address equipment design problems and evaluate product performance.

  • Participate in customer meetings to review quality and product performance metrics, analyze data, and report trends.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing complaints and conducting satisfaction investigations to implement improvement plans.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior field support and/or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Aviation or aerospace experience is preferred.

  • Assembly/Installation experience within the aerospace industry is preferred.

  • Ability to work 2nd Shift hours (2:30pm -10:30pm).
