International Payments Compliance Lead (m/f/d)

This position plays a crucial role in managing compliance risks associated with cross-border payment transactions, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations, and implementing robust compliance processes and controls.

The SME International Payments Compliance Lead is expected to possess strong knowledge of international payment regulations, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to drive compliance processes excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and owning our compliance strategy, framework and monitoring program
• Instilling a positive, proactive culture toward regulation and legislation across the company
• Overseeing policies, procedures, and training across the full range of compliance areas, including, payments, consumer duty, conflicts of interest, conduct risk, anti-bribery, data protection and our ethical policies
• Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and changes, and putting in place any necessary changes to our policies or procedures
• Coordinating our regulatory and partner compliance reporting
• Own, deliver and administer required compliance training to staff

Requirements

• Previous experience (>2 years) as a Head of Compliance or equivalent senior-level position.
• Strong knowledge of B2B International payments regulations and best practices. Must have worked in such products previously.
• Proven track of designing and implementing B2B-compliance processes
• Proven track of International B2B payments compliance processes optimization.
• A subject matter expert in Electronic Money Regulations, Payment Services Regulations, Money Laundering Regulations and PSD2.
