Technology Project Manager, Legal and Compliance

About the role

We are hiring for a Technology Project Manager to drive technology innovation to streamline legal and compliance operations. This role will apply their broad legal and compliance operations experience to help research, implement and manage legal and regulatory compliance tools and processes.  The ideal candidate would be curious about how technology can improve the legal & compliance function and be able to solve challenges through technology.  

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $103,680 and up to $144,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to 

• Research, implement and manage tools within the legal and compliance department,  including contract lifecycle management (CLM), governance, risk and compliance (GRC) and workflow automation solutions
• Develop an understanding of key performance metrics for measuring operational efficiency and build processes for collecting relevant and accurate data to be used in management reports delivered to senior leadership
• Support cross functional discussions with legal & compliance leadership and strategic partners to document legal needs and dependencies
• Partner with team members to design effective change and knowledge management programs

To thrive in this role, you have

• 5 years in house experience in the areas of legal and compliance operations technology project management
• Demonstrated experience implementing projects end to end, understanding processes, strategies and methods
• Strong understanding of how regulations, controls and processes work together
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, and expertise in establishing frameworks
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical audiences
• The ability to working independently and also as part of a team
• Curiosity about how technology can improve functioning for legal & compliance 
• Experience with Auditboard, Ironclad, eBilling software, Notion, JIRA a plus
