The Boeing Company is looking for a First-Line Contracts Manager. The position is located in Huntsville, Alabama and offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
This critical leadership opportunity will support Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) leading a team within Ground Missile Defense.
As a key member of the Program Leadership Team, you will serve in a multifaceted position that collaborates with various internal stakeholders and customers supporting Government Contracts.

Position Responsibilities:
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Manages, develops and motivates employees performing Contract Management Specialist activities
Persuades and negotiates at all organizational levels, particularly given the need to work on a cross-functional basis
Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of customer contracts and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of contracting approaches, products and processes
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts in programs with multiple customers and multiple contract types, such as: general terms agreements, assignment agreements, nondisclosure agreements, purchase and sale agreements
3+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience directly managing a project, team, or organization
Prior experience working as a supplier to another prime contractor
Experience in teaching, coaching, and developing others
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Travel:
Up to 25% travel for one of the positions.

Summary pay range: $114,750 – $155,250
