Job Description:
We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared Linux (or SQL scripting) Systems Administer for local Field Service Engineer responsibilities supporting our Ft Meade, MD operations. Will be responsible for maintaining mission essential systems while providing direct support to end users in an operational environment. The candidate should be self-motivated with minimal supervision and have working knowledge of various COP (Common Operational Picture) applications, i.e.: AIDE, Google Earth, FM.
Responsibilities include:
- Interact and collaborate with war-fighters on a daily basis
- Positive attitude and user support oriented, willingness to teach and advise on technical and functional issues.
- Work as part of a driven and creative team of Engineers, Product Designers, and other Deployment Strategists to configure software against the most challenging problems our world faces
- Your mission is to synthesize disconnected streams of thought into a cohesive understanding of what the most important problem is, what the data means, what the product needs, what users are motivated by, and where the impact could be
- Immerse in our customers' most intricate workflows, partner with customer teams and explore the data, and dive into the product landscape to enable mission support
- Go onsite and meet with warfighters and intel analysts to understand the critical questions they need to answer and locate their biggest pain points
- Identify relevant datasets through deep engagement with customer problems and workflows to integrate the data into a stable and extensible pipeline
- Work with the customer to build bespoke workflows and common operating pictures
- Lead training sessions to ensure that the product is meeting user needs, and to ensure it is being used widely enough to have concrete impact on our partners' operations
- Present the results of our work and proposals for future work to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives
- Embed with our Software Engineering and Product Design teams to incorporate what you saw in the field into enhanced AIDE capabilities
- Build and deliver demos to new and existing customers
- Scope out potential engagements in new industries and in increasingly expanding locations around the world
Here's what you need:
- Experience in ISR, FMV, cybersecurity or administration
- Knowledge with LINUX or SQL
- Must have Security+ certification or obtain within 6-8 weeks
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in Intelligence, HUMINT, Counter-Intelligence, or ISR community
- 3+ years Linux Systems experience
- Experience supporting distributed systems in an enterprise production environment or system deployment
- Field Operations experience
- Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
- Collect customer requirements and train users
- Willingness to work occasional long hour days and weekends when necessary
- Desire to learn new technologies to share and build knowledge with the teams
- Experience with ARES, VIDEX, CONOPS, MYSTIQUE, SENTINEL and other AIDE web services
- BS in Computer Science or related field
Security Clearance:
- TS/SCI in DISS required
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $90,700 - $170,200
Colorado: $90,700 - $147,100
New York: $83
