Skilled Maintenance Mechanic- Cherokee Medical Center

The Skilled Maintenance Mechanic maintains the safe operation and maintenance of Floyd's buildings and departments including but not limited to: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, general carpentry, and painting.

Qualifications:

A. Education
1. High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute

B. Experience
1. Two years of experience in building maintenance required
2. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and general carpentry

C. Licensure
1. Valid driver's license, clean MVR

It houses primary care and urgent care networks of providers and hosts a realm of outpatient services, including the operation of the Floyd County Clinic and an associated pharmacy for uninsured patients.
