Position: IT Storeroom Analyst
Salary: $51,712- $68,927
Job Description:
The New York County District Attorney’s Office (DANY) has an immediate opening for a Stockroom Inventory Specialist in the Information Technology (IT) Department. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, reliable individual with working experience as a stockroom inventory specialist or similar role to work in the New York County District Attorney’s Office Information Technology Stockroom.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for maintaining DANY’s Information Technology equipment inventory database.
- Receive, inspect, and catalogue deliveries for IT and other departments for accurate inventory tracking.
- Record and maintain inventory in Wisetrack - DANY’s inventory tracking database.
- Manages the disbursement and replenishment of stock equipment as needed, cables, thumb drives, external hard drives, Apple spare parts, etc.
- Prepare and coordinate the removal of end-of-life equipment for relinquishment.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and deployment of new equipment, desktops, printers, phones etc.
- Tracks and ensures all IT equipment issued to employees are returned and or accounted for at the time of departure from the organization.
- Process and address all requests logged in DANY’s call tracking system (HEAT) assigned to the stockroom in a timely manner.
- Responsible for equipment pickup and delivery to and from the stockroom throughout DANY working closely with other departments.
- Responsible for disbursement and tracking of IT equipment such as Laptops, iPads, cables, and peripherals etc. issued to DANY staff.
- Perform annual/semiannual inventory scan of all DANY IT equipment.
- Assist the IT Helpdesk with cloning and updating of laptops.
- Place support calls to vendor tech support to arrange repairs for IT equipment.
- Perform other job-related duties and tasks as required.
Preferred Requirements/Skills:
- Working knowledge of Wisetrack (DANY equipment tracking software) or similar system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite products.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, extremely organized, resourceful, and reliable.
- Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment: able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Additional Required Skills:
- Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment.

Additional Information:
- Current office employees: To be eligible for a transfer or promotion, staff must have already served at least 1 year in their current position and be in good standing. In addition, must meet the minimum qualifications of the position.
- Looking for candidates that could commit to one (1) year to the hiring Unit.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.

Position Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
