Description
ECI Group is currently recruiting a Senior Regional Property Manager that will be responsible for the operating performance of all assets in the South region. The regional portfolio includes 15-17 assets and ~4,700 units in GA, LA, SC, TN and TX. The Senior Regional Property Manager will have direct accountability over 5-6 assets and supervise a team of two Regional Property Managers, each responsible for 5-6 assets. In this role, the Senior Regional Property Manager will utilize best in class leadership and management skills to drive optimal operating results, mitigate risk and apply innovative thinking to the business plans of each asset and the overall assigned portfolio. Additionally, the role will require deep collaboration with multiple corporate functions across the organization.

What You'll Do
- Oversees operating performance of all assets in the South region, including direct accountability over 5-6 assets
- Ensures occupancy targets are achieved through leasing and resident retention
- Creates value for owners through meeting NOI and revenue goals
- Partners with regional facilities and maintenance teams to ensure physical assets are operating at peak performance levels
- Oversees and contributes to annual budget process
- Maintains a general knowledge of any transaction in markets under management
- Proactively builds and maintains strong relationships with vendors and business community in markets under management
- Ensures operational execution yields consistently strong resident satisfaction survey results
- Supports execution of proactive and timely reputation management strategies via social media – ratings, reviews, responses
- Ensures each asset provides/builds value for the owner
- Effectively leverages talent within portfolio, promoting from within while supplementing with new talent
- Leverages a succession plan to develop talent and anticipates needs
- Actively participates in the hiring process
- Empowers managers to work collaboratively to accomplish business goals and establish best practices
- Manages performance issues in a timely and effective manner
- Fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace
- Works closely with community teams in the implementation and execution of corporate programs that yield alignment
- Contributes to creation of and ensures execution of marketing plans for communities within assigned portfolio
- Possess thorough knowledge of competitive properties and market knowledge of all assets in portfolio
Requirements
What You'll Need
- HS diploma required. Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; minimum 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 - 7 years of people management experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience in multifamily property management required, regional and/or lease-up experience a plus
- Owner and/or 3rd party management experience required
- Proficiency with property management software platforms, preferably Yardi
- Strong, positive, motivational leadership style in managing multiple teams to success
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record of ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Strong financial aptitude and analytical skills
- Regular travel throughout portfolio is expected as well as monthly “as needed” visits to corporate office
