Job Description

As an experienced program manager in the physical security space, the Security Quality Program Manager will collaborate with internal and external partners to organize, track, and improve Security Quality initiatives related to the Physical Security Risk Assessment, Technology, and Business Intelligence programs.

The Security Quality Program Manager will utilize their excellent project management and organizational skills, along with their knowledge of physical security operations, to take ownership of important global initiatives, establish and maintain communication with partners, and ensure that Security Quality projects are completed ahead of strict deadlines. This right candidate will already have strong general project and program management skills in the physical security space, along with either previous experience in or interest in learning program management specific to Business Intelligence, Risk Assessment, and Security Technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee/support projects related to and hone subject matter expertise in Physical Security Business Intelligence, Risk Management, and Technologies
  • Ensure that the Physical Security Risk Assessment (PSRA) program remains best in class by supporting PSRA product management, creating expertly formulated strategies for continuous improvement, communication, and inspiring the completion of risk assessments assigned to operational partners
  • Analyze and evaluate emerging risks and partner to develop new risk control strategies
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Business Intelligence, Risk, and Technology programs exceed company standards and industry best practices
  • Contribute to the creation of clear, well-structured reporting products through the construction of persuasive metrics and dashboards that will inform executives about the current and future state of Physical Security at NBCU
  • Build long-term cross-functional relationships that motivate partners to meet strict deadlines
  • Monitor and provide updates on Security Quality programs and projects to guarantee deadlines are met
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of Security Quality programs and make recommendations for improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Risk Management, Security Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience of general program or project management in the Physical Security space
  • Working knowledge of physical security, including day-to-day operations and technologies
  • Deep understanding and ability to apply traditional and Agile Project Management principles
  • Experience managing large-scale projects and programs with geographically dispersed stakeholders
  • Excellent communications skills, especially the ability to effectively break down complicated concepts and processes for non-technical audiences
  • Ability to create novel, scalable, and repeatable strategies that can solve complex issues and problems
  • Must be willing to live/work in the greater New York City or Los Angeles areas in a hybrid capacity
  • Willingness to join a flexible and adaptable cross-functional team that supports one another's projects and initiatives
  • Travel up to 10%
