POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for procurement necessary for continued operation and maintenance of all company equipment. Ensures compliance with CMMS standards. Responsible for keeping accurate and adequate supply of critical spare parts, tools, warehouse supplies and other necessary equipment. Helps to develop maintenance plans and schedules to maximize material handling equipment uptime. Plans and schedules based upon preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and other KPIs. Plans and organizes all inventories.
Position Summary:
At Five Below, the Warehouse Procurement Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all warehouse equipment and supplies. This position is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and managing inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and operational supplies. The role supports preventative and predictive maintenance programs and ensures compliance with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts, tools, and warehouse supplies.
- Create and manage purchase orders for equipment and materials.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of procured items.
- Drive proactive replenishment programs for warehouse operational supplies.
Maintenance Support
- Assist in developing and scheduling maintenance plans to maximize equipment uptime.
- Analyze work orders and coordinate materials, permits, and subcontractors.
- Support technicians by staging necessary resources for efficient task execution.
Vendor & Contract Coordination
- Locate and evaluate suppliers; negotiate purchasing agreements.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to company specifications.
- Coordinate RFP processes and subcontractor engagement.
System & Reporting
- Ensure CMMS compliance and train workforce on system usage.
- Analyze predictive maintenance data and initiate corrective actions.
- Provide statistical reporting on workforce productivity and inventory usage.
- Other duties as assigned.
