- Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating a 5K forklift to safely and efficiently transport and relocate loaded pallets from container and trailers storing them in the designated warehouse areas.
- Must have one (1) year of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Willing to be trained within 120 days to operate mule/yard jockey or tractor trailer as a backup.
- Must be able to successfully complete on the job training to drive other heavy equipment such as mule/yard jocker or tractor trailer within 120 days of employment.
- Must possess previous experience performing a variety of physical & labor-intensive tasks.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak basic English.
- Must be able to accurately process alpha/numeric information.
- Must have the ability to function effectively in a fast paced, team-oriented work environment.
- Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision and strong initiative.
- Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees.
- Must have the ability to think logically, follow procedures, instructions and make sound decisions.

- Maintain constant communication with to ensure that the correct load is moved at the right time and to the correct location.
- Operate 5K forklift equipment to relocate material and load and/or unload pallets, containing shrink-wrapped or loose cartons, rolls or bundles with a variety of cargo from the container or domestic trainer and the designated warehouse areas.
- Manually pick and pull items from racks based on pick tickets or Loading guides to complete orders.
- Receive, scan, and verify cargo quantities based on company procedures and customer requirements.
- Load and unload containers, delivery trucks manually and/or with lift/dolly and verifies incoming and outgoing cargo by weighing, counting and documenting.
- Inform supervisor immediately of any discrepancies, damages and/or spoiled cargo.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Operate yard truck to pull, transport, load, or empty and loaded containers using standard equipment.
- Ensure that pallets are stretch wrapped properly before loading or storing.
- Compare pallet ID label number and Warehouse receipt to make sure that there are no discrepancies before storing or loading pallet to/from warehouse and conveyance equipment.
- Load container and trailers in a manner to maintain the integrity of the cargo free of damage while ar the same time maximizing the space of the equipment.
