Maintenance Supervisor

Daiso USA is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our DeSoto, TX warehouse. This role will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of facility equipment, and leading a team to support smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of warehouse equipment, machinery, forklifts, and building systems.

• Lead and mentor maintenance staff by assigning daily tasks, overseeing work orders, and promoting safe work practices.

• Develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and all applicable safety regulations.

• Collaborate with operations leadership and external contractors to address facility needs, improvements, and special projects.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports using company systems and tools.

Performance Goals

• Achieve 95%+ completion of preventative maintenance tasks.

• Reduce unplanned equipment downtime by 20% within the first year.

• Respond to urgent work orders within an average of 30 minutes.

• Maintain zero OSHA-recordable incidents related to maintenance work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Proven experience leading or mentoring a maintenance team.

• Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills, especially under pressure.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA or technical certifications (e.g., Electrical, HVAC, Welding).

• Experience with forklift maintenance.

• Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
