R&D Knowledge & Learning Graduate Intern (Global Development)
What You Will Do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. During this program, you will help shape the future of scientific learning and knowledge management within Amgen’s Global Development (GD). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams that bring Amgen’s science to life in clinical trials—helping ensure that study teams and sites deeply understand the science behind our protocols
- Support the design, development, and delivery of scientific learning solutions across multiple therapeutic areas (e.g., Oncology, General Medicine, Inflammation, Rare Disease).
- Assist in creating disease state and mechanism of action (MOA) summaries, study overviews, and educational solutions to support clinical teams.
- Contribute to learning asset development, including scenario-based modules, quick reference guides, infographics, and microlearning content.
- Help maintain and organize scientific learning materials in knowledge management systems (e.g., SharePoint, LMS), ensuring findability and version control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Clinical Operations, Medical, Biostats, and Site Engagement to gather input and ensure scientific accuracy.

Basic Qualifications:
Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship at Amgen must meet the following criteria:
- 18 years or older
- Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master’s program for a Master’s internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Master’s OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship
- Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
- Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the [internship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree concentration in Life Sciences, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field
- Strong scientific literacy and ability to synthesize technical or clinical content
- Demonstrated interest in learning strategy, knowledge management, or instructional design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneNote); familiarity with LMS or content authoring tools is a plus
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple projects and stakeholders
Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, global, and virtual environment

The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $30-$40 per hour
