Job Description:

The Oregon Public Defense Commission is seeking a skilled Data Analyst (ITS3) to help shape and steward the agency’s data future. In this role, you will lead data governance efforts and manage OPDC’s data assets to ensure they are accurate, well-structured, trustworthy, and aligned with the agency’s mission. You’ll play a key part in making information accessible and usable across the organization – supporting smarter decisions, stronger operations, and better outcomes for the people we serve. Position: Data Analyst (ITS3) 

  • This is a limed duration position, expected to last through the end of the current biennium (June 30, 2027). The position may be extended or converted to a permanent role, depending on future funding and organizational needs. If the position becomes permanent, the individual hired into the limited duration role will assume the permanent position.

  • Position Start Date: Monday, January 5th, 2026

  • This recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified applicants to fill the current vacancy and may be used to fill future vacancies in various locations, as they occur.

Salary Range: $7,415 - $10,961

Minimum Qualifications:   

  • Five (5) years of information systems experience – OR -

  • An associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND three (3) years of information systems experience -OR -

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field AND one (1) year of information systems experience.
