Job Description
ServiceNow is seeking a Director of Solution Architecture to lead a global team of Solution Architects, in support of the Customer and Employee workflow specialist teams. You will be responsible for partnering with Solution Specialist leadership to ensure alignment across the business, growing the team, driving revenue through supporting critical sales opportunities, and leading through change as we continue to expand our solutions.
The right candidate will evolve our shared services model for Solution Architects to a Center of Excellence, while collaborating with customers, partners, and the rest of the ServiceNow presales team.

- Support a team of world-class Solution Architects, responsible for guiding, coaching and advising the team
- Define and execute winning co-delivery models, championing ServiceNow’s best practices
- Develop strong executive relationships with C-level leaders as well as ecosystem partners
- Act as executive sponsor in opportunities
- Synthesize insights from across the team to advise Product and Solution Specialist leadership on market trends and successful sales strategies
- Scale the impact of the team by leading efforts to improve how the Pre-sales organization architects solutions with the ServiceNow platform
- Drive best practices in sharing across organizations to improve ServiceNow’s ability to win as a team
- Develop team members & leaders according to the demands of the business and according to their individual professional goals
- Ensure proper alignment of resources and effective utilization of skill sets within assigned regions

- Support & development of employees and leaders on your team
- Enabling the team to have major impact into our defined accounts and industry targets
- Attainment of quota target for your area of coverage (global workflows)
- Creation and growth of a COE for Presales Solution Architecture to scale the impact of the team
- Ability to progress an opportunity through direct involvement with customers and sales teams
- Recognized as a strong leader by your peers, direct line reports and across the organization
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- Leadership experience within an Architecture practice
- Solution Consulting experience (Minimum 8yrs)
- Passion for leading shared services organizations and building a COE
- Creative, high energy, entrepreneurial sprit, comfortable running initiatives and program independently within a “start-up paced” environment
- Strong executive relationships with CIO, CTO, and technology leaders
- Successful track record of managing high performing teams, meeting or exceeding KPIs and expanding offerings with clients
- Depth in Customer, HR, and GBS transformation design, implementation, and management
- Experience developing architecture practices and leading subject matter experts
- Middle and back office functional experience
- Driven complex issues through analysis and resolution
