Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform real-time, in-process quality checks and laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Monitor critical control points and aseptic process parameters (e.g., pH, Brix, viscosity, temperature, fill weights, seals, etc).
- Collect and analyze product and environmental samples according to defined sampling schedules and SOPs.
- Accurately document all testing results in paper logs and/or electronic systems in accordance with company policies and guidelines, along with regulatory requirements.
- Immediately notify production and QA leadership of any deviations or non-conformances; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Verify and calibrate laboratory instruments daily to maintain test accuracy.
- Conduct sensory evaluations, visual inspections, and line audits as needed.
- Assist with batch release and hold/release processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized lab environment that complies with lab practices and GMP standards.
- Participate in internal audits, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school background preferred.
- Experience in food manufacturing, preferably in an aseptic processing environment.
- Basic understanding of lab equipment and testing techniques.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles, FDA regulations, and food safety protocols.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain precise documentation.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and process monitoring.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Pay Range: $23.81-$26.65/hr
